I was doing a re-read and I came across something odd during Egwene's
Accepted test in tDR Chapter 22:

In the second arch, Rand asks her to kill him, to stop the Shadow from
turning him. When Egwene leaves the arch, "I couldn't Rand,' she
whispered. 'I couldn't." Then, "He said they could turn him to the
Shadow,' Egwene mumbled. 'He said the Myrddraal and the Dreadlords
could force him."

Sheriam tells her about the weakness in people who can channel and how
13 channelers and 13 Myrddraal can turn someone. Elaida is there
pouring the water. Sheriam, Alanna, a Yellow and a White.

Even if we suppose no one but Sheriam hears her*, this is as good as
announcing Rand can channel to Sheriam.

Thoughts?

*I am not convinced of this, although Sheriam does answer her question
"softly," after she "looked around quickly. Elaida was almost back to
the table."

"He" could be anybody. Egwene didn't say "Rand said they could turn..."
Of course, by the end of the book, it's pretty much a moot point whether
people know Rand can channel or not, since he's pretty baldly announced
to the world that he's the Dragon Reborn, whom people mostly assume can
channel.

She did refer to Rand just prior to that, although the question remains
of who heard her.

And even if they didn't know it was Rand, ANY MAN who could channel
should have occasioned some reaction.

But the AS would probably assume that the male channeler is just a figment
of the Accepted testing ter'angreal's imagination.
