Okay, I am not marking this as a spoiler because it was initiated in a
previous book and I'm just asking for a reminder --

I don't own all the books to go back and readily check this, so please:

What is the seanchan marriage ritual that Mat has completed his half of
but Tuon hasn't?

I cannot remember (one problem with it taking so long for the new books
to come out -- plus, I read, not listened to, the one that had this so
it didn't stick in my mind).

Thanks,
Tricia

Say your partner is your spouse three times. The two people do not need
to be colocated.

If Mat wanted to divorce Tuon, would he say three times "Tuon is no longer my
wife"?

It involves each person involved saying publicly that the other party is
their wife/husband three times.

Does anyone recall a time limit? For some reason a year and a day seem
to be bouncing around in my head.

A year and a day is the time limit, and it had to be done in front of
witnesses.
