Rand as Tamrylin according to Jendai prophecy?

I noticed that Jorin the windfinder of the raker that takes Nynaeve,
and Elayne to Tanchio gives us a little snippet of the Jendai prophecy
concerning the cooramoor. It goes like this,

"The White Tower shall be broken by his name, and Aes Sedai will kneel
to wash his feet and dry them with their hair."

I was struck by the foot washing of prophecy and wondered if it
correlated to the ceremony that goes along with being raised to the
Amrylin Seat. Is this an indication that Rand will be elevated to some
official position within the hierarchy of channelers? If so to what
purpose? Is this what Egwene is going to be angry with Rand about?

IMO, no, it does not indicate that Rand will be elevated to some
official position. The reference is more likely another comparison of
"Rand as saviour of the world", invoking similar bibical imagery of a
woman washing Jesus' feet and drying them with her hair.

I agree that it very well could be, but the bit of the Jendai prophecy
seems very literal as well. There is no doubt that the tower was
literally broken by his name, and that the bit about Aes Sedai serving
him means more than that they will help him out some. I suppose this
is one of those types of questions that we won't know until we know. I
just thought it was interesting.

But why would Rand want the AS to wash his feet?
