I don't know if someone stated this before, but some names of the forsaken are
those of demons in various religions.
1. Sammael-is the Prince of demons, a storm demon of remarkable strength
2. Be'lal-could be Belial, the Demon of lies
3. Shai'tan-Sheitan is a generic name for Demons
It also looks like a corruption of the name "Satan".
4. Masema-Mastema is the demon who urged god to test Abraham's faith
I thought that Masema was the Prophet of the Dragon Reborn, not a Forsaken!
5. Asmodean-Asmodeus is one of the seven archdemons of persian origin
