Page 329 of hardback Winter's Heart (Chapter 14, What a Veil Hides):
Tuon's full name is Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag (Daughter of the Nine
Moons).

Page 559 of the Gathering Storm (Chapter 36, The Death of Tuon): Tuon's
full name is now Fortuona Athaem Devi Paendrag (Seanchan Empress).

Why did Tuon change her first and third names?

Why did Tuon change her first and third names?
On the third name, my guess is that "Kore" is actually not a name but a rank
indicator. The same would be true for "Devi". So when she became Empress,
her rank indicator had to change.

As for the "Tuon" to "Fortuona", my guess is that it may be something
similar to changing from "Liz" to "Elizabeth". As a Princess, she couldn't
be named "Fortuona" so was named "Tuon". Now that she's Empress, she can't
use the "Tuon" but must use the "Fortuona".
