The Horn of Valere spent several months nestled right next to the Shadar Logoth dagger during The Great Hunt. Why wasn't it contaminated by the SL taint?

Logoth dagger during The Great Hunt. Why wasn't it contaminated by the
SL taint?
2 ideas:

1. The dagger's evil is a type of disease. While a physical object can be
can contain it's germs, it can't actually affect the object itself. The
dagger isn't "sick" it can only spread sickness to living beings around
it.

The Horn isn't alive. It is a ter'angreal, but it can't catch the disease.
Had Padan Fain been the horn blower especially after becoming Mordeth,
maybe things would have been different.

2. We know very little about how ter'angreal are made or their potential
properties. It could simply be that when it was created, it was given
specific types of immunity to evil influences.

That would explain how Mat became immune to the taint by AMOL!
