I know the World of Dreams is a strange place, but how is it that
Perrin enters in TSR, sometimes there are animals and sometimes not.
Like I know the Ravens are DO spies and so maybe they have a
intelligence enough to be there on their own. And wolves too. But the
chickens? He goes on a farm and there are chickens running around.
Does this mean there can be dreamwalker chickens? OR how come when any
of the characters go to T' aran ' whatever they arent always seeing
animals? In the same book a couple chapters later he goes on the
viliage green and there are no sheep or cows like there are in the
real world. Do chickens got something the sheep and cows do not?

Domesticated animals don't appear in the world of dreams. The fact that
the chickens were there indicated that they'd gone feral - that is, that
the farm had been abandoned for quite a while, so the chickens were no
longer tame.

The only reason the chickens are there is to feed the wolves. The dream
wolves (and foxes) have to eat _something_ and dream chickens are perfect
for this purpose. As Sherm points out, they are feral, so they can appear
in T'Riod.

Of course, then they would no longer be feral chickens because they would be
domesticated by the wolves (or foxes). Wait, I'm thinking of The Little
Prince. Never mind.

No, chickens are quite possibly the stupidest animals on the planet,
except for domestic turkeys. Chickens are DUMB. I oughta know, I
raise them. Want some eggs?

Holding you, I'm smiling, too

Yes. Ever read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"? Well, Jordan
did it a little bit differently, the way he did "Dune" a little bit
differently and "Lord of the Rings" a little bit differently.

Chickens are the master race. They've been trying to free the Dark One
(or The Bad Egg as they call Him) for aeons, and so far all they've
managed to do is scratch up a whole mess of grain, but they're having
to do it under a shroud of secrecy and with very sore bottoms.

Did you say "again"? Then that means you already have, and they will
be coming for you.
