Post by David DeLaneyPost by ***@frell.theremailer.net, the StallynPerhaps another author could be given Jordan's notes and take a shot at
ending the series properly?
Going back to book... five? six? Because, in retrospect, that's where it
started to go off the rails.
Post by David DeLaneyAll of the people who are complaining mightily that it's not written
how Jordan would have and they can see where the seams are? Guess what? You're
deluding yourselves. You don't KNOW which parts Brandon wrote and which parts
are basically straight from outline/written 20 years ago/etc. You don't KNOW
which plot twists or completions Brandon came up with.
Yeah. But while many of the plot points probably came from Jordan, the
details and the mechanics came from Sanderson. And here's too much focus
on characters we don't care about, though that certainly isn't a problem
that started with Sanderson.
Also, the prose is bad and the dialogue is bad.
Post by David DeLaneyDave, waiting patiently till the regulars have read the book so we can loudly
discuss various parts of it. LOUDLY I SAY
Unless you mean Chucky, I suspect most of the regulars are gone forever.
Oh, Leigh liked it, more or less:
