Did anyone else find the irony of Aveindha heading for Arad Domon
Delicious? Or rather the way in which it happened? She is Rands lover
and future wife (if they survive that long - but thats not the point of
this post). And so here we have Rand send an offhand order to move some
Aiel around the map to improve his bargaining position with the
Seanchan. With the consequence that Aveindha will probably get a
strapping for delaying the Aiel she is with. Whereas if he told her to
do anything in person, she'd likely tell him to jump in a lake (well
perhaps not that since she's Aiel). He also upset one of his other
girls, Elayne, by unintentionally removing Aveindha from Caemlyn.

I had a good chuckle over this, but I would have thought that Elayne or
Aviendha might have picked up on the irony of the situation.

On a somewhat side topic does anyone else think that it seems a bit too
convenient that one of Rands girls knows what *'angreal do, and the
other knows how to make them? Its like RJ decided to give Rand a
Ter'angreal manufactory as a little bonus for his retirement.

Also, Elayne PoV goes longer than Rand becuase she feels him hurt and
then that he jumps around a lot between it sounds like Tear or Illian
and Arad Domon where of course Aviendha now is. I guess it looks like
Aviendha and Min will have all of next book to get to know one another
better. Elayne though seems to have no luck at all. She saw Rand once
in tEoTW for an hour and fell in love, was with him in Tear for about a
weak in tSR, and declared her love, and then they have a one night
stand in Winters Heart. Thats like 8 days actually spent together over
a nearly 3-year period. Considering she knows how to travel and has the
warder bond, I'm surprised she hasn't grown fed up with the situation
and hasn't decided to get herself a spot in the rotation. One night
every three days outside of Caemlyn, with no one the wiser gateing
straight from her rooms.

Book 12 may indeed be the best book yet.

The wheel weaves as the wheel wills. Heh.

Don't bet on it. The glory days are long past. But it'll be better than
books 7-11.

Yeah, it's called deus ex machina.

I'm not so sure I agree with lumping KoD in with books 7-10, but I do
agree the 'final' book will be better thank KoD.

As for the *Angreal factory, I don't see Min's place in it, as she
isn't a channeler.

I suggest that Rand Gate to Caemlyn to boink Elayne silly, and that Nynaeve
Gate to Lan to boink him silly.
